Some churches are taking action by issuing statements and passing resolutions.  Below are links to a few examples -

 The Episcopal Dioceses of Newark and New Jersey will be bringing resolutions to their next diocesan conventions concerning establishing a time to celebrate creation within the Episcopal Church. Both of these resolutions are aimed at the 76th General Convention in Anaheim next summer. These resolutions are found on our website at:

Coupled with the Diocese of Minnesota's resolution from 2005, which asks its deputation to bring the celebration of creation to General Convention, there will be at least three dioceses supporting this effort. This resolution is found online at http://www.env-steward.com/events/resolve-05.htm
