 Our responsibility to steward Creation, comes not only from our covenant with God - but also from the command to care for others.  It is difficult to measure the full effect of our acitons on our neighbor, especially on a global scale.  The unforuntate reality is often opportunities come at the expense of others.

Whether it is through overly consumeristic tendencies, or poor energy effieciency - many of the true costs are paid by the worlds poor, who are least able to adapt/change to the circumstances created by our actions.
