Why Serve as Stewards of Creation?

The GREEN Rule of caring for creation is a common thread weaving through the moral fabric of all faith traditions. Like the GOLDEN Rule of caring for one another, all religious doctrine calls upon adherents to practice the GREEN Rule.

By serving as wise stewards of the air we breathe, the water we drink and the rest of creation’s precious resources, we demonstrate both respect for our Creator's works and compassion for the entire human family who depend upon these works for subsistence.

Membership: Walking Your Faithful Stewardship Talk

Becoming an Alaska IPL member means your faith-based community or congregation commits to walking your stewardship talk and Alaska IPL commits to helping you do so!

Whether your community is new to the GREEN Rule or has practiced it for years, Alaska IPL is here to help your community move along the path of responsible stewardship by connecting you to the tools and resources to serve as stewards of creation, including:
